  • How long/far is the tour?
The route has 5 stops spread across 1.5 miles (2.4 km) and takes approximately 90 minutes to complete. The terrain is all paved and there are practically no hills. That being said, make sure you are well hydrated and physically prepared to make the journey. Note: We will be passing by the check-in location again before the final leg of our tour. Feel free to bail at this point.
  • Where do I check-in?
We will be meeting at the flagpole in the plaza just west of a bar called Twist. The best place to park is in a structure just east of Twist on a street called "Exchange Place." It is typically $10 for the whole night and it's a short walk to the check-in location.
  • When is check-in?
15 minutes before your tour is scheduled to leave. Failure to arrive by the scheduled departure time may result in you being left behind. Refunds WILL NOT be issued if you miss check-in, so please try to arrive early.
  • What should I bring/wear?
You will receieve an email within 4 hours of your tour with weather information. Please dress for the weather conditions as our entire tour takes place outside. The following is a list of stuff we always encourage you bring with you: Water Bottle Light Jacket Hat/Sweatband Sunscreen (particularly during the daytime tours) Flashlights Fully charged phone
  • Will tours ever be canceled for weather or other circumstances?
Except in extreme circumstances, tours will proceed rain, shine, or heat. Please dress accordingly. Some examples of Extreme Circumstances include: 1) Lightning in the downtown area 30 minutes prior to the scheduled tour time. 2) Active high wind, flash flood, air pollution, or other weather/environment warnings. 3) Temperature is over 103 F (39.44 C) 30 minutes prior to the scheduled tour time. 4) Government or law enforcement operations (curfew, evacuation, streets closed to pedestrians, etc). IF FOR ANY REASON A TOUR IS NOT DEEMED SAFE OR PERMISSIBLE, you will be notified 30 minutes before your scheduled tour time via email. If you have any concerns about your tour date, please email jacksoncarterspeaks@gmail.com
  • How can I buy or redeem gift cards for the crime tour?
You can puchase either physical or digital gift cards through our shop. For information on how to redeem a gift card/gift code check out nightcatshow.com/redeem
  • Do you accept tips?
Tips are very much appreciated, but I don't expect any. You can tip at the end of the tour via cash or Venmo. I have been working really hard on getting this little tour operation off the ground and I have huge dreams for the future. Every little bit helps!
  • What is the age limit?
Anyone over the age of 14 is welcome, but parental discretion is advised. This is a crime tour and we will be discussing senstive topics such as abuse, murder, hostage situations, cults, violence against children, and suicide. The stories and details we discuss on this tour are nothing you wouldn't hear on the evening news.
  • What places are we going to visit?
Check out the main tour page for the full list: https://www.nightcatshow.com/crime-tours
  • COVID-19 & Mask Requirements
Our tour will take place entirely outside, so masks will be optional. As a general rule, give others their personal space. I would still recommend bringing a mask just in case you need to go inside somewhere along the way. Private business mask mandates are all over the place and you might be required to wear one.
  • Are tickets refundable?
Full refunds will be issued up to 24 hours before your scheduled tour by requesting a refund through Eventbrite or by emailing jacksoncarterspeaks@gmail.com. Eventbrite's fees are non-refundable. If you need to cancel within 24 hours, reach out via email and we'd be more than happy to add your name to the guest list for an upcomming tour.
